Since we follow the New Testament, our church may seem different to some, and maybe in more ways than one. One big difference is that do not follow or belong to any larger group or organization. We are led by older men among us following the guidelines of the New Testament (Acts 14:23, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-5). These men are servants of the Lord by leading and helping us follow the Lord all the time. In the New Testament their were men who took on the task of preaching and teaching about Jesus. In modern times they are mistakenly called "Pastor," "Father," or "Reverend." While all of these terms are Biblical, they do not belong solely to the one who teaches about the Lord. While our preacher is in the front with the microphone most of the time, he is simply a teaching servant of God and under the guidance of the Elders. | Lyle Lovell - Elder
