Our Worship Services
Jesus taught those who followed Him would worship God. He declared, “God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24)
Over the centuries worshiping the Lord has seen many changes. We have made it our aim to abandon any historic or modern approach to worship and let the New Testament be our guide.
When you visit us during a worship service you can expect a warm greeting and a time filled with:
- The Lord's Supper
This memorial, consisting of unleavened bread and fruit of the vine, is observed each Sunday by Christians remembering Jesus Christ's death and sacrifice for our sins (Acts 2:24, 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
- Congregational Singing
Songs of praise and worship are sung from the heart to God and to one another to encourage and educate in spiritual truths (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
- Bible Preaching
Lessons from the Bible are taught in an understandable way to inform, exhort, rebuke, and build faith (Acts 2:42, 20:7).
Prayers are offered as humble appeals of request and thankfulness to God through Jesus Christ (Acts 2:42; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
- Voluntary Contribution
Our guests are not expected to give any money toward our work as a group of Christians. Only the members are asked to give each Sunday to carry out the work of our local church ( 1 Corinthians 16:1,2; 2 Corinthians 9:6,7).
Our Bible Classes
No matter which class you walk into on Sunday morning or Wednesday night, you will be entering a Bible class that exists for only one reason: To offer encouragement and answers to help students reach their full potential in serving God.
In our Bible classes we strive to create a supportive environment where needs and questions relating to the Bible study can be addressed and discussed openly so that everyone can learn more.
Each week on Sundays at 9:00 AM and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM students of all ages assemble in classrooms and in the auditorium of our building for 45 minutes of group studies that provide a chance for a more personal and interactive Bible study than a sermon.
We hope that you will explore this site further to find out details about our group, and that you will come visit with us to experience firsthand how rewarding worshiping and studying God's Word together can be.
