But this is the one to whom I will look; “He who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word. Isaiah 66.2. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34.18. But who is the forgiven? It is those who come to God with their hearts broken. 2 Corinthians 7.9-10. Father help us to humble ourselves under your righteous right hand. AMEN

Christ must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet, the last of which will be death. 1 Corinthians 15.25-26. Are you ready for that day to come?

Friday, March 21, 2025Spring time has arrived in Northwest, Indiana. The weather begins to warm and by God’s divine power nature comes back to life. Feeling the warmth of the sunlight and seeing the trees, grass and shrubs begin to change color after laying dormant for the fall and winter months, I am reminded of God giving new life in the resurrection of His beloved Son from death that we might have forgiveness of our repented sins and give us hope of eternal life with Him. And how we arise from our burial with Christ in baptism to walk in newness of life. The old dies and the new is born! truly we serve a living and powerful God.

These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you. Titus 2.11-15.
