Sin can be enticing, but do not consent. Know where sin lies and do not partake; do not walk with sinners, walk in the light of the Lord.  Praise God for His power, strength, endurance, His word, and His salvation. God, the fountain of life. Be thankful, praise His holy name.

O, Lord, Hear and grant my humble plea for just a closer walk with thee. Draw me nearer blessed Lord to the cross where thou hast died, draw me ever nearer blessed Lord to thy precious bleeding side. Nearer My God to thee is where I long to be.  In Jesus name, AMEN

The ways of the world are foolish, full of empty deceit and wickedness. The world hates God and those who follow Him. But the beloved Son of God, Jesus the Christ has overcome the world. John 16.33. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.  Beware of the dangers, do not follow your heart; follow Jesus.

Unity with Christ is to abide in Him and His words abide in us. John 15.7.  By keeping His commandments we abide in His love; even as Christ kept the Fathers commandments, and abide in His love. John 15.10. Only those who have this unity with Christ, doing the will of the Father will enter the Kingdom of heaven. See Matthew 7.21.

Disciples are to grow nearer to God each day, grow in His Spirit and likeness. To accomplish this it would be helpful to begin each new day on bended knee giving thanks, praise, honor and glory to His holy name. praise, bless and honor Him for His truth, greatness, mercy, lovingkindness. He is the God of our salvation! Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer to thy precious bleeding side.
