Thinking today: How sweet it is to trust in Jesus, how precious his loving kindness, how comforting to be a child of God. Jesus, has the words of life, He is the way, the truth and the life, the only way to the Father is through Him. Just thinking. Hope your day is good.

I am weak Lord, but you are strong, and I need thee every hour; You are my strength when I am weak, my refuge, a real help in troubled times. You Lord, are my all in all. Without You I am nothing, but with You I can do all things which strengthen me. Uphold me, Father, with Your righteous right hand; Hold my hand precious Lord, lead me home.

Unity with Christ is to abide in Him and His words abide in us. John 15.7.  By keeping His commandments we abide in His love; even as Christ kept the Fathers commandments, and abide in His love. John 15.10. Only those who have this unity with Christ, doing the will of the Father will enter the Kingdom of heaven. See Matthew 7.21.

We have no choice but to live in this world wherein lies all manner of wickedness. But if we keep the faith in obedience to His will, stay strong and not let the wickedness of the adversary sway us then someday soon we will be with Him eternally.

See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3.1. We are children of God by obedience, we are sons of God by inheritance.
