We are called to holiness and to perfection. We should treat all the way God treats all, without partiality. If we love our enemies and do good unto them, we are as God is. Therefore you shall be perfect just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5.48. Loving and doing good to all is not undoable, imitating the Father and His Son is not impossible, it is what disciples should strive for. As obedient children be as He which has called you. Be holy for I am holy thus says the Lord. 1 Peter 1.16.

Some twist the words and meaning of Matthew 7.1-5. They read, do not judge lest you be judged and read no further.  But there are scriptures that tell us there are people and things we should judge. Judge all things John 7.24; Judge sin within the church 1 Corinthians 2.15-16; Judge matters between brethren 1 Corinthians 6.5; Judge preaching 1 Corinthians 14.29 Judge false spirits and those who teach and preach other gospels and false doctrines. 2 Corinthians 11.1-4; judge the works and workers of darkness Ephesians 5.11; Judge false prophets and false apostles 2 Peter 2; John 4.1; Revelation 2.2; Judge false Christians among us 1 John 2.18-20. Yes, we should judge but judge with a righteous judgement John 7.24. Judge with humility, look at your own life before passing judgement on others. Do not judge others for things you are doing yourself.

The solid foundation of God stands having this seal: The Lord knows who are His, and let everyone who names the Name of Christ depart from iniquity. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 21. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; Love one another thus says the Savior.

All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, and the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation. The gospel of Christ is our only defense against sin, and all the world needs to hear it! Disciples are obligated to spread it. Matthew 28.18-20.

Ere you left your room this morning, did you think to pray? If your life turns dark and dreary turn your eyes upon Jesus, rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the well of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5.16-18. Pray privately, pray reverently.
