The flesh lusts against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary to one another. So if we walk in the Spirit we will not fill the lust of the flesh. From Galatians 5.

We have no choice but to live in this world wherein lies all manner of wickedness. But if we keep the faith in obedience to His will, stay strong and not let the wickedness of the adversary sway us then someday soon we will be with Him eternally.

The heart reveals the man; Man is as he thinks in his heart. If we meditate on things true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report and add to our faith the Christian graces and increase our knowledge of God through diligent study of His word, what’s in our hearts will be pure and reveal to the world our love for God.  Philippians 4.8; 2 Peter 1.5-7.

Our adversary, the devil walks among us every day attacking and tempting us with his immoral principals of lustful, fleshly, sinful ideals which war against the soul and will weaken our faith if we allow it. Therefore, we must be sober minded and vigilant to stand against his wicked ways. We must be strong and courageous as we fight for that faith which was once delivered to the saints.

Christ receives sinful man. Yes, God sent Jesus, His beloved Son, that the world through Him might be saved. See John 3.17. Through Christ we have been freed from the bondage of sin which has held us captive and we now live a godly life. To obtain victory in Jesus, we must endure temptation, obey His commandments and remain faithful; then we will receive the crown of life. Revelation 2.10. Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, His name is called wonderful counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace. See Isaiah 9.6. Thank You Father.
