A Christian-Anonymous
Saturday, June 08, 2024Good Morning
I'm just a Christian
with no regrets
not above sin
but doing my best
to please my God
in all that I do
being His savant
as He told me to
having hope in my heart
that on that great
I'll hear the voice of the Master say
welcome to heaven
for ever to stay
God's Will-Jack Blake
Friday, June 07, 2024Good Morning,
As disciples of Christ we are not to be conformed to this world, but is transformed by the renewing of the mind to prove what is the good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. Romans 12.2.
And does His will from the heart. for we are His servants. Ephesians 6.6. The disciple does not live any longer in the flesh for the lust of men, but for the will of God. 1 Peter 4.2. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires and lives and walks in the Spirit. Galatians 5.24-25.
True Worship-Jack Blake
Thursday, June 06, 2024Good Morning,
According to the scripture, the hour is coming and now is when, TRUE worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in TRUTH. For God is seeking such to worship Him, for God is Spirit. John 4.23-24. So there must be also false or UNTRUE worship that is unacceptable to the Father. In Matthew 15.8-9, Jesus said people draw near to Him with their mouth, but their heart is far from Him and they worship Him with vain worship, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. And in Acts 17.23, Paul told the Athenians, they ignorantly worship God, ignorant of the truth about worship. So be careful how you worship our God and be absolutely sure you are worshipping God in an acceptable manner to Him according to His word and not the word of man, otherwise your worship is vain and God will reject it. Read, study and hear the "God breathed" word of God, because as Matthew 7.21 points out; "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. On that great day of judgement by the Lord there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, because of how we worship God here on earth. Matthew 8.12.
Why Worry-Jack Blake
Monday, June 03, 2024Good Morning,
Sometimes Christians, like everyone, worry about things. but we have a loving God who says: Casting all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5.7. And let not your heart br troubled; You believe. in God, believe also in Me. John 14.1. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4.7. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful Colossians 3.15. So we should take no thought for our life, what we shall eat or drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than meat, and the body more than raiment? The fowls of the air sow not neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet the Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? Matthew 6.26. Therefore we need not worry about our life, what we will eat or drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6.25. Disciples of Christ should not worry, for God will find a way for you.
Live and walk in the Spirit-Jack Blake
Friday, May 31, 2024Good Morning,
Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh and these are contrary to one another. So that you do not do the things that you wish. These are the works of the flesh: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, disenssensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkennsess, revelries. Those who practice such things WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. Contrary to this is the fruit of the Spirit: love, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. THOSE WHO ARE CHRIST'S have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit let us also walk in the Spirit, and not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
From Galatians 5.16-25. Emphasis mine.
